TCL is a large successful laundromat who has their operations well dialed in. They are known for cleanliness, helpful staff, and an all around positive experience.
The Challenge
TCL relies on a payment system which had been giving them almost daily issues causing failed payments, and require staff intervention.
The payment company's support team was not very hands on with their support, instead they provided us a complicated troubleshooting checklist to run through ourselves.
The checklist provided to TCL, would have been impossible for them to execute without IT experts.


The Proposed Solution
Onn Site IT would systematically check all items on the vendor's checklist in addition to for common network issues.
Onn Site IT would also install new business class network equipment for VLAN network segregation and network performance tracking. This would help to diagnose the issue and rule out network problems.
Results
TCL had been dealing with this issue for over 1 year when we committed to helping them. We charged a flat project fee for the new networking equipment and to resolve their network error.
After several weeks of persistent effort, we solved the issue by checking every single item on the vendor's technical troubleshooting guide.
At the end of this project, TCL had working error-free payments, new managed network equipment, an organized cleaned up server rack, and more importantly a support team they could count on.
